In May 2025, TDG Architecture and Compass Architecture joined forces to create a dynamic, unified practice dedicated to delivering exceptional architectural design across various sectors. This merger brought together decades of experience, technological advances, and a shared commitment to designing better places to live, learn, and play that foster community growth through innovative building design.
Today, as a combined firm with 10 full-time employees, we leverage the strengths of both TDG and Compass to offer comprehensive architectural services. You may see us as Compass TDG Architecture during the transition period. We remain committed to active listening, intentional dialogue, and refining your vision to deliver results that align with your long-term goals.

Founded in 2008 by Mark Tremmel, TDG Architecture built its reputation on a client-first approach, with technical excellence, and creative solutions that combine practical construction with inspired design. With a long-standing presence in Colorado Springs, TDG specialized in multifamily residential, municipal and single-family residential projects, earning accolades such as:
TDG’s portfolio included collaborations with the Colorado Springs Utilities, City of Colorado Springs, and El Paso County and continues with the merger. The firm also promoted sustainability, holding LEED AP certifications and contributing to award-winning green projects like the LEED Silver Certified Colorado Springs Utilities Water Laboratory.
