The D38 Modular Building provides a permanent, modular learning facility for Lewis‑Palmer School District 38’s Home School Enrichment Academy in Monument, Colorado. The approximately 14,000–17,000 square‑foot building includes ten classrooms, a shared commons, administrative offices, and support spaces serving grades K–6, along with dedicated rooms for music, art, and science.

Designed using an off‑site modular building system set on permanent foundations, the project emphasizes efficiency, durability, and flexibility while meeting all local code and performance requirements. Compass Architecture led the architectural design and coordination, working closely with engineering consultants and the modular manufacturer to integrate building systems and site infrastructure.

The project replaces an existing facility and demonstrates how modular construction can deliver a high‑quality, long‑term educational environment with reduced site disruption and reliable construction outcomes.
