Originally constructed in 1982, the First National Bank in Hooker, Oklahoma underwent a comprehensive renovation to modernize the facility while honoring its legacy as a pillar of the local community. The updated design balances trust and tradition with contemporary functionality, creating a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Natural light, warm wood finishes, and curated material palettes were used throughout to reinforce a sense of comfort, stability, and transparency.
The renovated interior prioritizes openness and connection, featuring a reimagined customer lobby, flexible meeting spaces, and private offices designed to support evolving banking services. Acoustic considerations, technology integration, and user-friendly circulation were key components of the design, ensuring the facility supports modern operations without sacrificing approachability. The project successfully transforms a familiar community institution into a forward‑thinking financial center while maintaining its strong local identity.
