Compass Architecture Woodland Park, Colorado

Located in the historic Roundhouse building—a former train station on the west side of Colorado Springs—this suite renovation for Paleta Bar blends the charm of vintage architecture with a vibrant, modern aesthetic. Positioned at the corner of Highway 24 and 21st Street, this location offers patrons more than just delicious handcrafted paletas: it’s an experience rooted in local flavor and iconic Colorado views.

Our design team worked closely with the client to transform the suite into a bold, inviting retail space that stays true to the Paleta Bar brand while respecting the building’s historical significance. The interior features modern finishes, custom millwork, and a mezzanine seating area perfect for relaxing with a treat. Large windows flood the space with natural light and connect guests to stunning views of Pikes Peak. An outdoor patio expands seating options and offers a scenic spot to unwind.

To emphasize local pride and community support, vinyl wall graphics encourage guests to "Buy Local," adding personality and purpose to the space. This renovation not only revitalizes a piece of Colorado Springs history but also creates a memorable, family-friendly destination for both locals and visitors.
