We are proud to have partnered with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) to renovate the McCord-Herbst Student Veteran Center—an essential space dedicated to supporting military-affiliated students. Located in Gateway Hall, this center serves as a welcoming hub for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families as they transition into academic and civilian life.

The renovation focused on creating a more functional, comfortable, and inspiring environment. The updated space now includes modernized study areas, a refreshed lounge, bar-top seating for collaboration, and a dedicated reception area. A new glass dedication wall honors the service and sacrifice of UCCS’s military community, adding a meaningful focal point to the space.

This transformation aligns with the mission of the UCCS Career and Innovation Center, which works closely with the Veteran and Military Affairs office to support students in translating their military experience into meaningful careers. Through career coaching, events, and community partnerships, the center helps veterans navigate their post-service journey with confidence.

The McCord-Herbst Center is more than just a physical space—it’s a symbol of UCCS’s commitment to honoring those who served. It provides a sense of belonging, connection, and purpose for students who bring unique strengths and experiences to campus.

We are honored to have contributed to this project and to support the next generation of leaders who have served our country. This renovation reflects our shared belief in creating spaces that empower, uplift, and connect.
