Avrie Tomsik is an emerging architectural designer based in Colorado Springs, bringing a thoughtful and energetic approach to her work. She received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver in 2025. As a recent graduate, she began her professional career at Compass TDG, where she interned in the summer of 2024. Here, she continues to bring a strong work ethic, bright smile, and deep enthusiasm for learning to the office. Avrie is especially passionate about historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and projects that serve all communities—believing that architecture should honor the past while shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future. Her design motives are also rooted in curiosity and collaboration. She is eager to deepen her technical expertise and enjoys engaging with clients and business partners to create spaces that are both functional and meaningful. Avrie thrives in environments where creativity meets precision and is always looking for opportunities to grow as a designer.

Outside of work, Avrie leads a vibrant and balanced life. She enjoys crafting, spending time outdoors—especially swimming or relaxing by any body of water—and helping at her mom’s local restaurant. At home, she cherishes quiet moments with her family and boyfriend, finding joy in simple routines and shared experiences. Whether she's exploring new creative outlets or connecting with loved ones, Avrie brings warmth and positivity to everything she does.
